Fotografiando el cómic español. Photographing the Spanish comic.

Hace ya algunos años recibí la llamada de un cliente para realizar un trabajo que se publicaría en la revista Rockdeluxe. Acepté el encargo; fotografiar al Premio Nacional de Cómic 2008, Paco Roca, por su obra Arrugas. 

La sesión se llevó a cabo en su casa donde tiene el estudio.Pasamos una tarde divertida, trabajando y charlando sobre novelas gráficas, cine, fotografía... entre figuras de Star Wars, pósters y por supuesto montañas de cómics. Todas esas cosas que tanto nos gustan.

Podemos disfrutar de la exposición de su obra en el MuVIM de Valencia hasta el próximo mes de diciembre.

A few years ago I received a phone call of a client to do a work being published in the magazine RockdeLuxe. I accepted it; to take a picture of Paco Roca, winner of the 2008 National Comic Award, for his work Arrugas, (Wrinkles).

The photograph session took place at his home where he has his studio. We had a fun evening, working and chatting about graphic novels, cinema, photography.... surrounded by Star Wars toys, 

posters and of course a load of comics. All that stuff we love.

We can enjoy the exhibition of his work in Valencia MuVIM until next December.

AUDI VALENCIA CUP 2012 - 52 SEPERSERIES

AUDI VALENCIA CUP 19 - 22 SEPT 2012
Las condiciones de mar y viento que se dieron durante los cuatro días de regatas fueron óptimas, lo que nos hizo disfrutar de una competición muy emocionante, y conseguir unas imágenes espectaculares de estos magníficos veleros navegando por las aguas del Mediterraneo.

Finalmente, Audi Azzurra Sailing Team consiguió la victoria y se proclamó Campeón de la última regata de las 52 SuperSeries.

A continuación os muestro una selección de las fotografías que tomé durante la celebración de las regatas.

AUDI VALENCIA CUP SEPT 19 - 22 2012

Such a  good sea and wind conditions during the four yacht race days let us enjoy a really exciting competition and get amazing images of those splendid ships sailing through the Mediterranean sea.

Finally, Audi Azzurra Sailing Team was victorious and came out as the winner of the last race of the 52 SuperSeries.
