La ciudad de Shanghai viste de luces y pomposos adornos navideños sus principales y más lujosos centros comerciales. 
The city of Shanghai saw lights and Christmas decorations pompous at main and most luxurious shopping centers.

En China la mayoría de la población es atea, y solo un 1% se declara cristiana.
China majority population is atheist, and only 1% said they are Christian.

La Navidad, por tanto, no es más que un gran reclamo comercial para que el inmenso tejido de las numerosas superficies comerciales de la ciudad incremente sus ventas. 
Christmas, therefore, is nothing more than a big commercial claim for the immense web of the many stores of the city increase its sales.
